This site is published by Option One Solar. By using it you agree to what follows. If you do not, please do not use it.

What this site is, and is not

Everything here is general information about solar, batteries and how we work. It is not an offer, a contract, or professional advice about your particular home. Nothing on this site creates an agreement between us — only a signed contract does that.

Estimates and pricing

The savings calculator, the payment estimator and the comparison tools on this site produce estimates. They are built from your monthly bill, typical sun hours for your area, published utility rates and our current package pricing, and they assume things about your roof and your usage that we have not seen yet. Your real numbers come from a free home energy assessment, and they may differ.

Prices, package contents, financing rates and discount programs shown here can change, and they change more often than a web page does. Nothing on this site is a price guarantee. The binding numbers are the ones in a written proposal signed by both of us.

Incentives and tax

We describe federal, state and utility programs as we understand them, and we try to keep that current. Programs change, sometimes with little notice, and eligibility depends on your circumstances. Nothing on this site is tax or legal advice. Talk to your own tax professional before you rely on any incentive.

Our licence

Option One Solar is a licensed California contractor, CSLB #985340 · C-10 and C-46. You can check any California contractor's licence, and file a complaint about one, with the Contractors State License Board at cslb.ca.gov, by writing to 9821 Business Park Drive, Sacramento, CA 95827, or by calling 800-321-CSLB (2752).

How you may use it

Use the site for your own purposes as a homeowner or business owner looking into solar. Please do not try to break it, scrape it wholesale, submit false information through the forms, or use it to send anyone unsolicited messages.

Our content

The text, photographs, designs and tools on this site belong to us or to the people we licensed them from. You are welcome to read, print and share pages. You may not republish them as your own or use them commercially without our permission.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a utility, a government program or a manufacturer, we do it because it is useful. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they say or do.

Limits

This site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it. This does not limit anything we owe you under a signed contract, or any right you have that cannot be limited by agreement — including your rights under California consumer protection law.

California law governs these terms, and the courts of San Bernardino County, California are where any dispute about this website would be heard.
