I've avoided even considering solar for the longest time because I just didn't feel comfortable talking to any of the sales people at the big box stores. What changed my mind is a neighbor on my street added panels to her 10-year old system and I... realized she found value in it—so, I started to look for a company.Option One came up with stellar reviews. I reached out for a quote and was immediately impressed with how professional, friendly, and authentic they came across. Never did I feel they were being pushy or lying about anything. I got a couple of other quotes for the same size system as well and they were the same price for not as good customer service.The other thing that makes Option One great is they don't outsource the install—they are the sales and the installer. A lot of these smaller solar companies are really just a broker that just add another person in the line of communication. Things went so much smoother having it all under one roof. They work with a couple of lenders for financing that have great rates.Ana was a great person to have the initial conversation with because she answered all of my questions and explained things honestly and directly. Amber was my project manager who provided me weekly status updates as the project was going on. The crew they sent out was friendly, cleaned up after themselves, and did a very professional looking installation.Highly recommend Option One Solar!read more

I received the most exemplary service from everyone at Option One Solar. Ashton, who helped me decide on the scope of my solar, thoroughly answered all my questions and actually took me around the office and introduced staff to me. I felt like part... of the family. Allisun handled the financial aspect and was most accommodating and understanding when special circumstances arose. Natasha was my project manager and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She was always professional and personable. She was conscientious and responded so quickly to any questions I had. She kept me apprised of what was happening next and what would happen throughout the installation process. If I had a daughter, I would want her to be like Natasha. She was an absolute delight to work with. Although I don't remember names of all those who worked on my project, everyone worked diligently and exhibited care and concern about me and the job they were doing. I believe employees reflect the values and attributes of the company, and I don't think there's a solar company that is more honest and caring about the customer and has such an excellent product as well. We have recently decided to go the solar way, after so many other companies trying to sell us on things we did not need we found Option One. Our sales Rep Ashton was able to answer all of our questions provide us with great feedback on all their... programs without hiding any information. This was the main reason we chose this company. While going through the process our project manager Natasha was always responsive, kept us updated every step of the way. The day of installation they showed up and got to work, very courteous and friendly workers, they left no mess cleaned everything up. Even after installation, when you aren't a priority anymore to most companies, we had some questions they were able to speak to us and answer all the questions we've had. From their sales department, project organizers, and construction guys; everyone was genuinely looking out for me and just wanted to make sure the job was done right... and I was satisfied. By far the best choice out there for residential solar! I did a ton of research on different system components and contacted maybe a dozen different installers, and Option One was the only company I felt fully confident putting my trust into for... such a large and important purchase.The communication was great, and my sales rep Tracy was so accommodating and was always happy to answer any questions I had or bring them up to the right person if he didn't know the answer, and then actually follow up and get me the answer! Other companies just slowly stopped replying to calls/texts/emails, but not Option One. They followed through on everything.Esmeralda in finance was the sweetest and made the whole contract/financing process super easy to understand and put any and all concerns I had to rest. She was really on top of any little changes I requested and was also stellar when it came to communication and accommodating all my questions. Shout out to you Es!And I couldn't have asked for a better project coordinator, Natasha, who handled literally every aspect of the install from the moment I signed the contract. She's really good at her job, from coordinating the roofing work/permitting/installation/inspection flawlessly and always being available for questions and giving me updates. So glad she was assigned to my project.And the actual installation was a great experience. Brandon, Ian, and Andrew were super quick, efficient, respectful of the space, and always answered any of my questions or concerns during the (one day!) install. They let me hang out and watch at times, and were fun to chat with. Steven and Victor did the electrical work (I had a main service panel upgrade) and the finished product looks so organized and professional. Victor was very careful to make the new stucco look great and went out to get a paint color to match and it's basically flawless. All the installers really cared about the final product and went out of their way to make sure every detail was taken care of (too many things to list here, but they treated it like they were Installing on their own forever-home, which was amazing).The final product looks great, works like a dream so far, and I'm confident that if anything comes up in the future, Option One will be totally on top of it and get it sorted out quickly. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about the company, people, process, or final product.Coming from a skeptic that probably does too much due-diligence and research, I'm really glad I made the choice to go with Option One after all. The installers installed them according to the plan they submitted, but they were still visible from the street.
